Thomas Mills High School vs Felixstowe Academy U15 Boys

September 2013

Felixstowe Academy have made it through to the next round of the Schools Cup Competition with a hard fought 4-3 away win at Thomas Mills School this week.

The entire team played their hearts out and after going down 1-0 early in the first half, Harry Webster equalised soon after to make it 1-1.  Thomas Mills then scored two rapid goals to make it 3-1, but just before half time Harry was on hand again to score his second to make it 3-2.

The Academy came into the 2nd half more determined and showed great discipline in their play, and within 10mins Harry secured his hatrick bringing the score to 3-3!  Just two minutes later, John Kelly was on target to score what turned out to be the winning goal, making the score 4-3 to Felixstowe!

Thomas Mills are a good team and played very well amidst some very good refereeing from their PE Teacher. They put a lot of pressure on Felixstowe, as they probed for an equaliser but Oliver Rose in goal made countless marvellous outstanding saves to keep Felixstowe in the game.  Ben Read had to make two goal line clearances as well.

Well done to the entire team and best of luck in the next round!!
