Felixstowe Academy students Elias Woodard, Finn Andre, Phoebe Storer and Lucy Barber very bravely stood in front of over 300 people to lead the prayers at this year’s annual Churches Together Unity Service at St John the Baptist Church.
Using Nelson Mandela as a source of inspiration, they prayed for the end of poverty, more cooperation in the UK, equal rights and world peace.
All four regularly attend the ‘Fish’ lunch club, run by Josh Hunt at Boost, which takes place every Wednesday and Friday in G2 at Maidstone Campus. They were fantastic ambassadors of Felixstowe Academy at this popular event and were excellent public speakers. Well done!
