Saalbach Hinterglemm 2014

For some the Easter break was a time for study, leisure and chocolate, but for a group of students and staff from Felixstowe it was all about hitting the slopes and enjoying the snow!

Felixstowe Academy, in a joint project with Copleston High School, enjoyed a successful ski trip to Saalbach Hinterglemm in Austria, their  second visit to the resort.

The trip was a great opportunity for those involved to improve skiing and snowboarding skills in great weather conditions - with students and staff tackling harder slopes and practicing jumps.  The group also enjoyed a visit to a ice hockey match, quiz nights and a visit to a Spa.

Mr Cumberland was  delighted with how our students bonded with those from Copleston and received many   positive comments from instructors and other staff on how respectful and polite our students were to the people and facilities around them.

Any students wishing to find out details on next year’s trip to Austria should speak to either Mr Jackson or  Mr Cumberland.
