The success and achievement from Felixstowe Academy's recent A Level and Level 3 BTEC results day have been brought together within a new video presentation.

Felixstowe Academy Principal, Mr Salter was delighted with the results with the dedication from students and staff to show progress being reflected within the results ‘We have worked hard to ensure that we have given good advice and guidance to our students at the beginning of their Sixth Form studies in terms of appropriate course choices to match their skills and abilities following their GCSE successes. We are now seeing the results of this along with the fact that we have been constantly monitoring and improving our teaching at KS5.’

Mrs Munday, Subject Leader for Maths, expressed her excitment at seeing 95% of Maths students achieving A* to C grades, with 26% of students achieving the very highest A* grade. In addition to this, 88% of students taking A Level Further Maths achieved A* to C grades.  Mrs Munday said 'What a stunning set of A Level Maths and Further Maths results we have seen this year.  Glancing down the lists it looked like it had been raining A* grades!'  Of the students, Mrs Munday went on to say 'Myself and other A Level Maths colleagues have derived such pleasure from teaching these students and working so very hard with them to attain this well deserved outcome.  We wish them every success and happiness in the future!'
