Felixstowe Academy Sixth Form has chosen to support EACH Children's Hospices as their part of the their community programme during the Autumn term. We will make sure we update this page with key events and news as it happens...
Fundraising Kicks Off in Costume!
What a terrific start to the Sixth Form fundraising campaign, with a special 'Non-Uniform Day' raising £547 for the charity!
With funds from the 'Non-Uniform Day' also contributing to the Academy Student Council and Breast Cancer Campaign, this was a brilliant total to achieve and kicks the whole fundraising initiative off in style.
Sixth Formers, who don't wear uniform, used the day to come into lessons wearing fancy dress - and what an effort was made!
EACH £50 Challenge Accepted!
Form Representatives meet with Patsy Johnson-Cisse from EACH Children's Hospices on Friday 10 October to take receipt of the £350 that will kick start fund raising activity for a very worthwhile cause.
Students are meeting shortly to confirm a series of fundraising events that will take place right through to the end December. With each Sixth Form Tutor Group taking on the challenge, we are sure friendly rivalry between fundraisers will result in lots of cash for EACH!
